Eliminating knots in solid spectra connections

What do you think about this. With solid spectra to attach a topshot, put a double line in the end of the spectra w/ an austrailian braid (not really a knot, Ive tested this and line still holds 100 percent strength) and just loop to loop a topshot that you have made. I've tested this alot and the lower strength mono always breaks first. Any opinions?

That should be a very good connection for you. I have been doing the same thing since almost day 1 using a bimini in the solid braid.
