great video.
looks like nice mess of fish.
jigs working well.
Nice video Jim, I'm glad to see you're getting out and exploring some new stomping grounds.
For those that are looking at adding those jigs to the jig bag,the 1st time I dropped one of those jigs in NC I caught a Gag.
Jeff,
The bottom structure there is unbelievable. I caught a red grouper within sight of the beach. He was just a few inches short, but it was cool. 20' ledges, ancient tree lines and humps, bumps and valleys of all kinds. The oil will be gone one day, I just hope its not all destroyed for my lifetime.
I have to say being the first time I had the pleasure to try one of these jigs. It was awesome. Fish were jumping all over it all day. Jim I had a blast and hope we can do it again soon. I will be carrying those jigs in my bag of tricks for sure.
The skirts and hooks have a very limited life span, but bigger hooks and clunky skirts just don't work as well. I will be putting together a refresh post soon, because after a day, they really need to be put back together to go the next day.
