I know Kil has some killer handles, BUT, the bigger handle on a Torium for jigging kind takes away from the reel. Atleast in my experiance.

I added one of Tani's handles to mine and it really made it awkward for jigging. The crank arm is the same, just the "grip" is bigger, it felt good for normal cranking, but getting the jigging motion and speed cranking is where she lost it. To me everything was out of balance, thats the best way to explain it.

Now for semi-deep dropping, it really makes the reel better.

Darren and I both have them on our 30's. If you can wait a week and a half your more than welcome to check mine out(Im at work - be in the 14th). I went so far as to buy another shimano handle($106-ouch) just to have one for jigging with. The Torium handle is riveted on, so you cant reinstall the stock knob if you dont like the way it feels. Its one of the one shot, drill'em out types. I dont know if the existing hole will allow you to install one of the JM Handles(stock thickness and dia. of existing hole).

But if your hell bent on getting one, there is no finer than where your looking.

    Best of luck.

thanks danny, i am not going to get one for the torium, but for my tyrnos 16, i think i will definately get one, as that will be primarily for deep dropping. thanks Casey

p.s. Kil I pm'd you for some pricing for the handle, I just need the quote for the one for a tyrnos. Thanks

JM handles are for jigging. JM handles don't fit to Torsa reels as JM thinks Torsa reels are designed for bait fishing.
You might need to drill Tyrons 16 to use JM handles.

Here is a picture of prototype Everol 12/20 jigging reel with JM LT51 handle by drilling to make a little bigger hole.
JM custom handle fit to Accurate, Trinidad and Saltiga without modification and fit to most reels if you drill slightly.
