I got packages from my suppliers today; I spent 5 minutes looking at one trying to remember if I ordered a blank from them or not! I had like 6 orders in the past week or so, so I have been getting packages every other day. Going nuts looking for a tip top only to remember that I ordered it from the other supplier and it was in a different box! I gotta try one of those 500 or 600gr VJ blanks...those look fun! I was even debating doing up one with a #1 or #2 unibutt or one of Pac Bay ferruled aluminum reel seats for a spinning rod for Tuna and X flocking over the butt section. |

It's bad when you know when the Fed Ex and UPS guy usually arrive and you have the door open waiting for them to come down the street
![]() Thanks for the offer Kev, what other places do you have wholesale for? I got Jerrys Sports Center, too....great place to get reels for combo packages!!! |

I think Ponce and I are going to pull the trigger on V2 of the Eastern Tackle 200g rod built on a Riley Rod Blank. Paul, give me a shout.
The Amtak/Mudhole blanks are good, but I have a lot of confidence in those Riley Blanks.

Fishstix4u Merrick Mudhole American Tackle Calstar Seeker plus other rodbuilders that have direct access to Japan for Fuji, Matagi and various other components that I need. Sea, those Riley blanks are good blanks. Batson Enterprises produces them. I switched to AmTac because I prefer the gloss black blank vs the flat black. Mike makes some cool grips, doesn't he? Mad Mike, thanks for the compliment. Its funny how many people think my work is expensive, until they put it in their hands and see my attention to detail and then they want to know how I can sell it so inexpensively!!!
