Sweet Fish! I'm really looking forward to my first encounter with a plus sized tuna on the surface down here in Costa Rica.
What kind of lure is that...sea-dog maybe? |

That was a sea-pup that i used to catch that tuna up there. I bought one of the striper ones that tackle direct had and changed the thru wire. I didn't trust the small swivel they used. I also added a solid ring in the front to help the action. The split rings and hooks were upgraded too. From what i understand tattoo makes a tuna model that is ready out of the box. These lures worked great. I really don't think the fish are that picky, you just need to get on them and get the right presentation.
Oh ya, sunday was insane. Hopefully Travis will get some video up. |
