I returned the rod last night. I also just picked up a Sarragosa 18k, so now I need two rods...

A good budget jigging rod is the quantum boca. The blank is parabolic unlike the Daiwa Saltiga jigging rods, which have a faster taper. I think tackledirect has them on sale right now...maybe $70 off the top of my head.
