Cape Cod BFT "Last Round"

Jesse, Greg, and myslfe will be heading to Cape Cof for our last venture of the season. Our storage lease is up for the boat so we'll be missing some tuna as I feel they should remain a couple more weeks. The beach fishing here in NJ is getting good so the stripers will have to hold us over as well as some NC trips.
Here are some videos of our last trip to CCB. The action was hot and we aer wishing to go out with a bang for the last trip this weekend.
There will be some prototype rods used on this trip so I will let everyone know how they are.

Well the trip was successful as seen on the other thread that Kilsong started. I was however treated with bad shipping dates and did not have the new prototypes to test. I did test a Jigstar though for them, it turned out real nice.

Today I recieved some prototypes and we are off to a good start. I would not call them "finished" yet but we are getting close. I would like to change some things, and I am sure there will be no troubles with that. Here is a shot of a 350g spinning jigging rod. I am boucing a 5 gallons of water in a bucket. I used 35lb of dragged and still had to hold the spool to get the bucket up. The rod is 5' 4" and weighs in at 10.7 oz built. The blank is 3.03 oz. They have a nice taper and feel but like I said, they are not perfected. I was also able to lift the bucket with the 250g but I did no bouncing on this model.

Here is a photo of the rod loaded. Oh yeh I was shaking getting this into the air, it is heavy.

Yeh I built up to this moment and tested a couple times. My girlfriend was laughing at me because I had on my old dirtbike helmet.

Hey did you make it out this weekend at all?
