Braid to mono knot problem

With a solid braid main line why not just tie a bimini twist in the solid braid to form a small loop and then simply attach the windon leader of your choice via a loop to loop connection. 100% strong, slim so it wil go through your guides easy, and easy to change out leaders.

That is how I fish 100% of my jigging stuff. If I need a knot in an emergency I can tie a pretty strong slim beauty, but it is not the most streamlined knot.

My braid exp is limited but on our non hollow core outfits we troll with we are running a uni to uni ... The mono side getting three wraps like our mono to mono but on the braid side like ten or twelve wraps... Thats a good slim one... We burn the nub ends of both and peen em over just in case but havn't had one slip to get to that point that we've needed it.

That Sebile knot is very similar to the FG knot. (you need good teeth and dental insurance though)

You're not kidding but since I have the need from time to tome open a bottle of beer with the old ivorys I feel like I can continue to manage this knot

Iuse the Albright with a lock. It has held up great and has a small profile compared to most.
