    Bluefin Tuna Jigging Blank recommendation

Looking to build 2 bluefin Tuna jigging rods in the 6ft length range. Will mount on new Saltigas with 60-80lb braid on them.

What do you recommend blank wise?

    Thanks

6ft blanks? Get the Seeker Hercules. Those blanks have a great tip section with enough action to work lighter jigs and through the butt section they have enough backbone to stop a mule.

What size bluefin will you be jigging for, and what style jigging would you like to do?

if you're talking NC and Cape may lump BFT go for the Synit Venom 450g or 550g, the Spinal 400&500g rods are great for the price as well, both blanks have nice light tips and tons of balls where they need it

Those are great blanks mentioned but I don't think any you listed are 6 foot, except the synit 550, as requested in the original post.

This is true, they are close though. I know the Synits can come in 5'6" not exactly sure about the Spinals. The seekers are great blanks as well. Is the 6ft length make or break? for VJ I know most prefer under 6', can see 6' if your yoyo jigging mostly or flinging ronz's.
