Go to www.reelbuzz.com and scroll down to Little Clams report. He has a few pics of yesterdays action. From what I have heard over the last week, there have been 50lbers to 150lbers scattered from the tower down to the Malchase. Looks like towards the end of the week could be the time to hit them.

    Yes it happend!!!

    Quick report

We(Herring,Seadraggin,Mythos, frank and Milton) left Hatteras inlet dark thrity abord the Little Clam with Capt Patrick at the helm, it was warm I wore my damn t'shirt to the fishing grounds.............BUT Mother Nature had some other plans!!! just as we pulled up to our first drop it started RAINING HARD!!!

made a few drops IT WAS TOUGHT CONDITIONS LOTS OF TIDE AND WIND almost a 4kn drift at one point....

got some info from another capt. and we made the call to move and boy am i glad we did we went 2for7 on BFT....
I was up first and it was the one in the photo thats me under all those layers!!!!!

Seadraggin also caught and released a real nice BFT
Both fish were in the same class size the one i caught was around a 100 and Jims fish was right there with it....

anyway i am still to tired to type so photos to come once i download them

All I can say is that I had a BIG Blue Fin make my Sargoosa 18000 scream..smoke and the drag smell like a burnt up clutch. The drag cap melted as well and the wire thingy that holds the drag in broke. This fish pulled 90% of my line off in 3 seconds. Needless to say Shimano will be fixing this one....
We got bit on the Eastern Tackle Pot Roast Flat side. I had one fish run before I even had the reel bail down.
Anyway..Jim will fill in the blanks..we also have some great video as well..as soon as Jim does his editing.
