Also, with that much pressure, might want to use a leader thimble where the leader goes through the ring (either solid or swivel) to reduce the pressure and the chance of the ring cutting through the leader.

ive stopped using small solid rings, despite their high drag rating, the issue you just stated worries me sometimes with high drag.

ive seen several big fish lost like this w/ the small spro windon swivels.
