Can I work your booth for a day at the High Point Rod Building show in Feb? I promise not to break much.
I do have to warn you though. We were trying to see if the Expedition really was capable of 65lbs of drag at the show over the weekend.![]()

And before my mailbox gets flooded with enquires about the show.......http://home.earthlink.net/~icrbe/
LAst year we had 12 people"working" the booth. This year we've got over 20 people coming down. I willnot be as disorganized as I was last year, with $10,000 worth of blanks laying on the floor -oops don't step on that, lol. I am doing a seminar at noon on Saturday, and Saturday AM is the busiest time of the entire show, so I can tell you now that I will not be able to spend that much time with anyone during those times. LAter in the day, adn all day S/unday when it's a little slower, will be a much better time to come over and play around and chit chat. Get there early, pull on teh blanks, see if you like/dislike them, andwhen it thins out we can discuss whatever you want to discuss.
If you come with a group, we can do an impromptu NC Jigging seminar in front of THe NERBs booth, 3PM Saturday. Something like that is much better since I can ask a couple of guys to watch the booth for an hour or so.
I think I need a 200g spiral wrapped jigging rod with some majical B40 threadwork. Will you be available to spend a few minutes with me to pick a blank. Preferably very early in the show before everything is picked over. I would really value your opinion and time with this project.
SD, That's what I'll be there for. The NERBs booth has been an impromptu meeting place for DEcorative WRap Q & A the past few years, we should do teh same thing for NC Jigging this year. It would be great to set up a time for a bunch of you guys to stop over, it would be a great opprotunity for guys to get rodbuilding questions answerred, adn for them to see products tehy've been reading abotu on teh internet first hand. Maybe you guys can bring some stuff, teh way that you did last year - it would make the session that much more informative.
Make sure you look at the racks of rods we'll have on display, we've got some insane rods which will be down there this year.
