Big Jacks - Where did they go?

I jigged last Sunday out of Morehead and again yesterday from Wilmington. We have caught fish, but have not been harassed by the big AJ's.

Are they all inshore? Or way offshore?

Way off now jim. i cant wait for them to invade the inshore AR's again when its warm...them on topwater is just tooooo much fun..

we hit up spots last week, they pushed out...plenty of nice seabass around though, they made me a tasty SAMMICH

The big AJ's move well offshore this time of year. Most of the ones you'll catch we be school size at best..

Went to all the deep spots(300+) in the last two weeks... They were not there... didn't even mark any. Our best action was in 120-140'. Me and the boys have a theory about the bi-annual spawn... They will be back on there soon though.. Thats all I will say on here
