    Ava jigs?

    What's so special about these jigs? Are they available? I have used Bridgeports, stingsilvers and others but i don't ever remember these.

    these are some small ones, 007's (come in different sizes and colors and a plain tubeless version) very popular choice around here for jigging.

    I didn't know that's what those were called. We've used them for cod/haddoc up here.

    the website is jigs rigs and stuff they are by far the best prices. I prefer the ones without tail as you can add some teaser later if you need. Give them a try they are definately the go to lure in the NE

    The AVA 047 with no tail (plain straight hook) has out produced any jig I have ever used... killer on both stripers and choppers, also deadly on tuna... longfin love them.

    The smaller 007 and 017 with no tail are great for casting to albacore on the surface when they are moving through in the fall.
