    Anyone tried this?

I was reading a local forum, and someone stated they were dropping down on some marks in 200 feet of water. They were getting AJs and Blackfin, but said the blackfin were hitting the jigs that were moved faster.

Apparently after a while of going slow enough to tangle w AJs, they decided to let the jigs sink down, then floor the throttle to get the jigs to scream up from the depths. Apparently it was a quad hook up on blackfins.

Was wondering if anyone else had ever tried something like that. I have heard of something similar w wahoo and wahoo bombs.

Yes Blackfin are speedsters and like it fast, so do the bigger Ajs also.

It seems like the Aj's will tear up and fast moving jig too. I would think going to a smaller jig might help, or not dropping down as deep.
