    AJ - Weight Estimator Thread

    Pending the new state record. I thought we could compile a list of accurate Fork Length/Girth measurements for everyone to use this summer to estimate their fish weights, using length measurements before release.

    The pending record was well documented, so we can start with that.

    Weight 126.5
    Fork Lenth 63"
    Girth 44"

    I know with the jigging get together trips to Wilmington, this will be helpful. If anyone else has any other good measurements and certified weights, please add them to this thread. We should be able to come up with a pretty good estimator chart by this spring.

    After what I saw this winter commercial fishing , the new record will come out of AB/MHC. I won't post the Pics from this winter because they were commercial trips but look out theres some real slobs out there now..But I really like Steve's scale that he has on his boat, Im going to build one myself just to be on the money..Ken
