AJ for my friends son!

Took my friend out a few weeks ago and his 14 year old son... Did some trolling at the Atlantic Ledge and nothing happening.. I noticed a lot of AJ while trolling so I got my jigging rod out and hooked up some AJ for my friend 14 year old and an hour later he was begging for some relief!! Fun day fishing out there and hopefully I can post a few pics of the action...

Those AJ's will make men beg for relief after an hour. Pretty work there. That young man will always remember that day.

Thanks to some of your jigs there Jim you helped make it happen.. Seemed the 160g Katana green scale was all they would nail that day!!! I had 2 now I only got one!!! I tried several others but nothing happening.. My yellow glow dont glow nomore it has been stripped of any type of glow it had on it.. The yellow glow is what I have had my best luck with in the 160g katana!!! Kings, sharks big blues and AJ were tearing the yellow glow up a few months ago now it stays in the truck to show some of the guys at work just what happens to a jig when them toothy critters are hitting one behind another...... Hope to get out sometime near the end of the week for a jigging trip really looking forward to trying out some new jigs I just recently ordered!!!

Its funny, that isn't one of my go to jigs, but if you look at it closely, its really not too far off from the old original potroast from the bottom 2/3rds down. Really the only difference is the green back vs burnt orange. I think on the inshore waters its really a good color overall.
