localhooker-
Welcome to the site! I'm glad that you signed up and look forward to reading many more great posts from you. If you didn't see it already, we have a small contingent of rod builders here on SFC and we have our own forum.

I was thinking that if you could find some time, I'm sure that there would be many folks that could benefit by learning how you go about building an acid wrapped rod. Now I don't mean for you to give away any of your secrets or tell any of the things that make your rods different from others, but I know that there are some good folks here that might like to learn a little about the build. In fact, its threads like that that have helped lots of folk here on this site to promote their business.

Just a thought, take it for what it's worth.

Again, welcome to SFC!

Thumbs up HAPPY TO HELP...

Lead the way... I have a partner/rod builder. We have an agreement; I sell and market rods, he builds 'em. I can't give away too much but I'm willing to help fishermen, and if that means selling a few rods, all-the-better!

yeah ..we have been trying to get the word out for years, with pretty good success
the local bass guys have been using acid rods..
but ..i would love to get a pro guy using
there are some really nice lure specific bass blanks around right now..
ready for acid

Thumbs up OFF SHORE RODS

I'll try to get a few pictures of the off-shore rods I've built for several guys on Cape Cod ASAP. They swear by 'em.

I'm heading off shore tomorrow & Saturday as I'm told the tuna bite is amazing!
