But....... I will let you know in a few weeks. Actually I feel that for schooling tuna they will be fine. For Cow Yellowfin tuna or your Giant Bluefin tuna, it remains to be seen. I would feel that the BX2 30 or 50 would do the job.

The only thing I know is that my photography and editing sucks......

Hey kilsong a friend of mine just purchased a Avet HXJ and is now worried about the binding proble. Can you please explain?

The binding problem occurs when you start to reach heavy drag settings. The handle becomes more difficult to turn the heavier the drag. I notice it on Avets when you have the drag set just before you lose free spool. I think but am not positive that the binding is caused by the way the cam puts pressure on the bearing. You would have to ask someone that really knows Avets well to answer the exact cause.

Thankyou Fishduck Jigging Master makes a great blank. Paul from JPR is a master rod builder...... Acid wrap takes a little getting used to looking at but it sure is comfortable on the hands. My Red Accurate BX2 600 and 500 are built like a tank. I cannot wait to pull on some fish and give first hand report. Time to chase some Yellowtail. Maybe EasternTackle could recommend some jigs in glow please
