    Accurate BX2 50

I'm looking at the Accurate BX2 30 (500/80 braid) on a OTI 3103-56c 60-100 line rating and 600g jig rating.

Is this a suitable set up for jigging larger BFT ?

Any feed back is appreciated and reccomendations.

    Jim

Thanks I appreciate the feed back.
It has taken me some time to make a choice after reading all the fine articals here on jigging.

The next bite on a jig.
Not to muddy water, but I have to ask why folks would choose the accurate over the alutecnos? When I tried the both the 12 and the new 12C, they were a joy to fish.

No special reason, trying to put together 4 set ups, I fished with the BX2 30 two weeks ago and thought it was a fine reel, smooth drag line cap good.

As I mentioned I'm open for suggestion.

yes, the 600g rod is meant to be fished from 25-28 lbs of drag IMO. its a beast........that rod has caught quite a few big marlin in panama
