200g Spiral - Split Grip - JPR Custom

This is a load picture of the 200g rod Paul just built for me. I used Bob for my Eye Candy This one should be allow me to work the little jigs, but handle a big pull.

I couldn't be happier with this rod and see using this one A LOT in the future.

    Specifically what works for me:
    - Guide placement on the spiral wrap is perfect. He uses two guides to make the transition.
    - Load - I have it loaded with about 20lbs of drag and it isn't close to bottoming out. Again the guide placement is perfect.
    - Threadwork and finish - again...perfect to match my existing Diawa stock rods.
    - Split grip and diameter - made exactly like I spec'd it.

I'll put up some better pics of the up close tonight. Its a 10 out of 10.

Looks sweet (the rod, not the model)

Looks very sweet, can't wait to hear how she performs on the water with some big pullage.

Is that an aftermarket handle on a Saltiga? If so, how do you like it and is it worth the money? If nothing else, it looks very cool!
    Thanks

I saw his beard fluttering and just thought it was the morning sea breeze, but then a chipmunk jumped out and everything settled down.
