NINE MICHIGAN HIGH SCHOOL JUNIORS WERE WEARING THIS ON THEIR SWEAT SHIRTS IN SCHOOL. NEEDLESS TO SAY THIS CAUSED A STIR, THE SCHOOL SPOKE PERSON SAID "IT WAS OFFENSIVE AND IN POOR TASTE". IT WAS ALSO MENTIONED IN THE COMMENT THE JUNIORS WERE ARAB-AMERICANS. THE JUNIORS, BELONG TO THE 2011 CLASS THE BIRD // "THUNDERBIRD", IS THE SCHOOL MASCOT, IT WAS SAID THE DESIGN EVOKES THE TERRORIST ATTACKS ON THE TWIN TOWERS.
