    warm water is what i am talking about. sometimes i think that the water will never warm up enough. Can't wait for the warm Nicaraguan water.

    damn right i am. maybe i can hook into one of those monster black marlins they got over there. Hopefully my arms aren't to beat from paddling all day though. It will be a little more difficult to real one in if they are

    If you look at the SST shots, it shows a cool band of water ocean side of the eastern shore of Virginia up thru MD and NJ. I've seen this several times before and was told it's upwelling (colder bottom water being brought to the surface). I'd be willing to bet in a day or two the temps will return back to the usual hot water surrounding the upwelling.

    gonna be on the pacific side. Playa Guasacate.....never been down there before. The waves should be epic while i am there though. Maybe i will get to catch something on the boat ride in between breaks.

    i could be wrong but aren't cold water upwellings good for fishing? Bring a ton of nutrients up and kinda jump starting the food chain. Like i said i could be wrong.....thought that is what i read once. Plus i am stilling trying to get on my first trip this year anyway. My old man has been running some trips this year just can't seem to make it out.
