Ok, know what? all i need to know is how to help..for years i've been writing letters to my senator/rep..all i get in return is a pleasant form letter in reply, SO.. i , for one want to be more proactive and get involved, your right, were becoming sheeple and its pissing me off. My great grandfather all the way up to myself fought for this country, willingley and with pride, and i'll be dammed if these motherfuckers are going to screw me and my family to there rightful enjoyment of how great this country can be. sign me up!
PS- Fuck CNN/FOX/ABC/CBS/NBC -I'm all in for Ron Paul.
Am i ranting? yup. and after i calm down i'll explain why...............

Ron Paul is the one....Mitt will remind you of Raiders of the Lost Ark, when Harrison Ford opens the Ark of the Covenant, and a beautiful woman apparition comes out, and suddenly turns into a horrible monster...wait and see in horror, as we in MA did....he looks good in a suit, but that's it.....

I'm for Paul too. But then being Southern we're suckers for lost causes.

I'll not only vote for Paul, but also, I'll vote straight Libertarian Party as I've done in the recent past. It's easy in Texas to do so.

I do it because I know that someone like Paul elected to the presidency will be about as useless as tits on a boar hog without a cooperating House of Representatives. And, that's my concern. What' about the folks who control the money. They'll still be the pricks of Dems and Repubs as they've always been...BECAUSE OF JERRYMANDERING!

Only the Executive officeses (Pres. VP, Governors, etc.) and the Senate are modestly free of jerrymandering and they're at large. But even there the "delegates" come from districts. Even with Paul in office the House controls the purse.

Good points, the key will be, who has the Knowledge, and then persona or ability to unite both sides of the aisle into a body that can actually do the right thing. Answer: God only knows. A debate between Obama and Romney will be like one between a white brother and a black one. Romney raised taxes in MA during his Governorship, the unemployment went up 2% during the time period, he raised every fee he could get his hands on, doubled state college tuitions, presided of one of the biggest MA debacles (Big Dig), and introduced Romney-care, a prelim to Obama care, in fact he sent his Romeny-care staff to Washington to help indoctrinate Obama-care, and couldn't do a damn thing with the rest of the polititicians in the state. So, we shouldn't make fun of someone like Ron Paul, who voices some common sense ideas we all like, kind of like Barry Goldwater, a lot of ideas that "can't" go anywhere...a shame. Let's see how smart NH is next Tuesday...
