You must have forgot to post the right pictures...I don't see anything wrong there....best one I saw in a while was a guy in bare feet, on a 12' aluminum stepladder, in a pool, rewiring a light fixture...classic Haiti craftsmen right there.....

In Iraq in 2003 my son saw an Iraqi 15ft up on a ladder with a lit acetylene torch in one hand and a bucket of paint and brush in the other hand.{ him and his buddies were betting the paint was not water base either}. He also saw them waterproofing tents with parafin that smelled more like kerosene then wax. and then smoke in the tents as soon as the water proofing dried a bit.

A lot of people don't know linseed oil is extremely spontaneously combustible,,,take a rag dipped in linseed, squeeze it tight in your hand, you can feel the heat building up...many a painter has burned a house down leaving oily rags around.....
