Im sitting in the cardiac surgery waiting room at Johns Hopkins as my 16 month old daughter is in her 3rd open heart surgery. A doctor was just shot by a patient on the floor above me. Shooter is still on the loose, were locked in the room.

Whats this world coming to.

Karl....continued prayers for your daughter....Hopkins is one of the BEST in the country......thankfully incident is over with no others being injured.....ashame you had to endure the mental anguish caused by a mentally sick individual.....

She is really doing well. Surgery was very successful. Were not use to things going smoothly, so this is a very welcome surprise. Just fed her a popsicle. Hopefully we will be back out of here in a week or so and things will be back to norm.
