Yankees are going to buy themselves another championship. Meanwhile the sox are spending 70million on people who don't even play for the whole season. I need another team.

just wondering- how do you say that they will buy a championship?

first of all- yankees have not won for many years and they're the one who spent the most money. obviously money doesn't buy championship. the fact that the marlins had the lowest salary payroll and still won the championship PROVES that money doesn't buy championship. so even if yankees win next year, you can't say they bought it.

second of all- what is the red sox doing????? why are they dropping 50 mil just for speaking rights and another 50 mil to sign a contract with that japanese pitcher?? 100 million right there!!!!!! there's a lot of fishing trips!!!!!!!!!!! FOR A GUY WHO HASN'T THROWN A PITCH IN THE U.S. YET, it's stupid!! did you know japan baseball use a much smaller sized baseball? how is he gonna deal with a bigger ball? no proof.

I, for one - love it when the Yankees spend 200 million dollars and still lose. I group the Red Sox, and now the Mets, Blue Jays, and all the other overspenders in the same group. I am a die hard A's fan. I wish they could spend the money those other teams do. They are in the hunt every single year - and are in the lower 10 teams in payroll. Imagine what they could do if they could afford A-Rod or Manny!! They can't even pay there home grown players past their first contract. They are still in contention come October, though. One of these days they will win another championship. Until then I am content with knowing the Yankees DIDN'T win.

i havent caught a billfish yet, but it's ok because it's the bambino curse. i'm actually really good at it, but it's the curse. so it's all good.

Where is all the beantown hatred coming from? I don't hear any Sox nation supporters on the offensive. All I hear is yankee fans begging for another ring so they can justify the 230 million dollar payroll.
