WTF is up with Sen Rangle's new bill

I am a veteran of the recent conflicts in the middle east. This bill is a misguided idea that is fielded from the nut bags every now and then. It is the same idea that they keep around and bring it out when they think they have some momentum behind them. You have to look at the whole picture. The recently leaked documents supporting the idea that the wars in the middle east are killing civilians and are their for not be carried out in an appropriately.


The idea behind the mandatory military service that is contained in this bill is that if all economic classes suffered equally the United States would be less likely to get involved in War. There is that fair and equal thing again. Really, this is what they believe and I think most of the nut bags will admit it.


In any event my experience is that I have served in the recent conflicts with patriots that came from families that are extremely wealthy. These patriots did not just volunteer for service. They had to volunteer at least 2 more times and endured extremely difficult training and selection process to find themselves at the very tip of the spear.


This is another attempt at fixing something that is not broken. If you want to fix something fix and take on the military industrial complex of this country directly. If not, leave the military alone.


Keep your grubby communist ideas away from the true patriots that defend this great nation.

You are right Big Jay. When I carried my son to a navy recruiter he passed the test but the guy told him they didn't have any slots right now. He said all the branches were turning people away.

Funny....send him to Parris Island, we'll take him........we're turning out 550 men per week, more or less, haven't turned anyone away yet......he might not make it, but it won't be for lack of trying........

But I've been saying it's what we need for quite some time. We currently have a generation that doesn't know what responsibility and discipline are. I learned a few thing's when I was "in", that have never left me. I know how to get out of bed in the morning, I know there is no excuse to be late (never mind not showing up) for work, I understand that the world does not revolve around me, I am responsible for my action's and screw-up's, I know respect is earned (not demanded), I learned what pride really is, etc..... Not to mention the education I got about myself and my fellow man. The education I got that I have used daily for the last 30 year's. Finally I have no apprehension calling myself an American, I earned the right. Frank
