would this make a good offshore boat?

I am looking at a boat that is for sale in my area and would like your input if this would make a good offshore boat for ground fishing and for shark fishing off the coast of Maine?
26' penn yan cruiser 10' beam 9x9 open deck with 2 255 mecruisers. I do not know much about big boats so any input will help. Thanks
