I WILL NEVER GET SCREWED BUYING A BOAT FOR I AM TOO SMART TO ALLOW THAT TO HAPPEN...I WOULD GIVE ANY BOAT A PROPER SEA TRIAL....WITH THE ORIGINAL OWNER ONBOARD...AND I WOULD HIRE PITCHBAIT AND FRANKY AS MY SURVEYORS TO OVERSEE THE ENTIRE OPERATION AS A TEAM...AND THIRD....I WOULD NOT DRIVE ACROSS THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA TO BUY A BOAT

No need to salvage anthing there hooeeybox. But try to stay on topic. You attacked a woman that happens to have first hand professional experience. Just what is your experience in boat building? What specific period of time did you work handling quality control & warranty issues and for what boat builder?

Attacking a woman is a bit low don't you agree? You stated that with one phone call you would get a gentleman a new boat complete with a stock of beer. So here is what I propose, Lemon pays to have the boat shipped to you. If you can't perform, you pay out of your own pocket all expenses and agree to reimburse him for shipping. So what about it there deep pockets? I didn't think so. Next thing you know you"ll be calling the police on me when you get to Cape May and one more thing, you are not allowed in the Canyon Club pool either. We heard all about you up here in Cape May.

Mary, I tried to get your back on this but I just read the Luhrs thread on the other site and it was the biggest waste of time in my life. Its like watching 2 retarded kids fight with each other. You want them both to lose. Thanks for nothing, you will be getting my bill for time used.

He dosn't need the police he has me I live there. My Opnion as as a surveyor Look at what you are buying. We are talking about Lurhs and WC. You cant expect to buy a Crystler 300 and expect to get a Bently just cause they look alike. Same with a Lurs and a world cat just cause they look like boats dosnt mean they are going to hold up and preform like the a Viking or a Contender. I havnt read this thread in so long I forgot what it was about But I have spent alot of time in boat sheds along the eastern seaboard and am a gradute of the Chapmans School (just so you know). In a perfect world the boat owner usually dosnt have enough knowledge to inspect the boat him or herself. Therefor they hire and put there trust into a trained and proven professional, the surveyor. If the surveyor inspects the boat and there are things he missed, then I blame the sureyor, and the owner. The owner should have hired somone that has more experience and the surveyor should have never taken the job if he wasnt going to do a proper survey or wasnt qualified. No one is perfect and somethimes surveyors miss things, thats why he should carry E and O insurance. This case could take years in court and cost alot of money to settle. Is it worth it?
