Now, I'm not bashing Bo Palmer cuz I don't know him, all I can do is read what others on other sites have said about him, how he treats customers, and what the news has reported he owes to the county in North Carolina. I think it is a shame that Shamrock went under, and I feel especially bad for the guys who own a Shamrock with a "lifetime warranty" that now is as worthless as the warranty offered to me by World Cat. But to find out Mr. Palmer is in charge of the new Defiance line is a bummer, as I would not buy from a guy who leaves his customers hanging. Period!
Apparently, Mr. Palmer had "Investors" for the new start-up for Defiance Boats when he knew Shamrock was on the rocks. I wonder if World Cat is one of those "Investors"? From what Shamrock owners have said it appears to me that Andrew Brown and Mr Palmer have similar management styles, or at least in how they treat unsatisfied customers who have major problems with their boats. Since Mr. Palmer and Mr. Brown are from the same state, it would be reasonable to expect that they run in the same business and social circles....maybe even play golf together? Maybe even took business classes together? Maybe even share notes on how to improve profit and lower overhead?
Does anyone have a take on this? How can a guy bankrupt one boat business and then turn around and start a new one before his old debt is paid off? Is there a new Obama government bail-out program we all should know about? Cuz if there is I want in on it!!!!!!!!:
