'contingent liability' on the hull was a deal all boats had to go get paperwork for and that just told me a lawyer was somewhere glassed into the boat this at times can be good and bad.. what I did find though was when I took advice from a one of the best builders I know when he said "Let it go!".. I took the pictures, surveys and all the papers of lost $, time, crap I wrote down on paper and took all of it and tossed it in the trash..

some people are very happy with the W.C. boats but I have only ever seen 1 inboard one.. I find now days if I don't like something on a boat I change it.. or fix it myself..

good luck and don't spend too much time dwelling on this ..
I wish things had been different and WC would have actually tried to reach a resolution, but they are all about money. I have over a hundred e-mails back and forth to all involved parties, not to mention all the phone calls, and I wanted to reach a solution. I missed 2 full fishing seasons in the process of being patient to work things out.

Well, I guess that's how I have to play the game...their way. I am sure in the 30,000 plus hits on this site as well as many others, there are more than a few people reconsidering purchasing a WC boat due to my experience with WC and their dealer. I guess the only way to communicate with them is to place the call through their "Get Smart" wallet phone. Maybe agent 99 is on the other end and her nick name is Phyllis.

This is more of a hobby for me. Since my boat is gone I can spend the time I would normally be fishing or working on my boat, posting articles and updates. I am alright with it!

Thanks for the good advice and info. I am sure that someday I will let this go, but I am sure I will have many more wrinkles and grey hair before it's over.

    my sentiments exactly...

This video sums up my 2004 World Cat 270 HTS boat with twin Volvo Penta diesels with 150 hours. Just a perfect rendition!

    Bully Beatdown??????????

Anyone know anything about what this is?

Got a call from some guy named "Mahem" and he said someone from my former boat manufacturer is saying I am a bully and I need a beatdown. Not too sure what this means but it seems odd.

Could exposing a lousy boat model, a lying dealer, and a manufacturer who shirks it's responsibility, be considered a bully? I think it is being a responsible citizen/fishermen warning other fishermen about his experience and to avoid the same snare. JMO
