sucks when you are even anywhere part of a bad situation on a boat. (like I said been there and done that..) one thing I can tell you though is that I got pinned a trouble causer by some for a while, hot head , etc... 'contingent liability' on the hull was a deal all boats had to go get paperwork for and that just told me a lawyer was somewhere glassed into the boat

this at times can be good and bad.. what I did find though was when I took advice from a one of the best builders I know when he said "Let it go!".. I took the pictures, surveys and all the papers of lost $, time, crap I wrote down on paper and took all of it and tossed it in the trash..
some people are very happy with the W.C. boats but I have only ever seen 1 inboard one.. I find now days if I don't like something on a boat I change it.. or fix it myself..
