Work vs. Prison

Just in case you ever get these two environments mixed up, this should make things a little bit clearer.

you spend the majority of your time in a 10X10 cell
you spend the majority of your time in an 8X8 cubicle

you get three meals a day fully paid for
you get a break for one meal and you have to pay for it

you get time off for good behavior
you get more work for good behavior

the guard locks and unlocks all the doors for you
you must often carry a security card and open all the doors for yourself

you can watch TV and play games
you could get fired for watching TV and playing games

you get your own toilet
you have to share the toilet with some people who pee on the seat

they allow your family and friends to visit
you aren't even supposed to speak to your family

all expenses are paid by the taxpayers with no work required
you get to pay all your expenses to go to work, and they deduct taxes from your salary to pay for prisoners

you spend most of your life inside bars wanting to get out
you spend most of your time wanting to get out and go inside bars

you must deal with sadistic wardens
they are called managers

Trust me you have it alot better. Im a Corectional Officer. Heres some reasons.

Morning inspection at 8:00 must get up even weekends
Morning wake up whenever do whatever

Brakefast 05:30
brakefast whenever

Crap infront of your cell mate
Wife yells shut the door,or turn the fan on.

Shower infront of fellow inmates during rec.
Shower alone or with a love one.

This is what your eating. 2 weeks of differant meals,then starts allover
So what do u want to eat

Miss all holidays with family
So you dont want to go to your motherinlaws

No talking during chow
Talk to whoever

Striped searched when ever infront of whom ever
Only in the bedroom

When do i go home
Can't wait to get home

Bubba the room mate needs some then your
People around to hear your cry for help

No smoking or chewing
Smoke, chew, whenever

No porno graphic papers
Cant wait for the mail to get here

So do you still think jail is better then work, think again.

they can troll.What do you think the soap on the rope is for.I have heard there is a lot of bottom fishing in prison.

My wife keeps me barefoot and in the kitchen.

Sometimes it feels like work, sometimes it feels like prison, but I'll take the beni's and the time off for a little behavior! (I let her decide whether its good or bad behavior.)
