well i don't have any funny stories to add to this, dang i wish surf was here. she knows how to get things stirred up!!!!

well i've had a very long and interesting summer and i've found out along the way that people aren't whom they portray to be. it's all about them and don't care what they do or what they say as long as THEY get what they want.

well school starts back tomorrow for me and it's time to put away the shorts, skirts, and the bathing suits and pull out uniforms. yes, as a teacher i have to wear school uniforms.

i have been teaching for 10 years now at a small private school that had 198 students when i first started teaching there and this year we have 440 students.

this year will be an interesting year because i will be team teaching fourth and fifth graders. there will be a total of 57 students that i will have passing through my class on a daily basis. thank God i don't have a husband or children because taking care of a family and the duties of being a teacher would be a lot of responsibility. instead of 22 papers to grade i now have 57. i am also starting college pursuing my master's degree in education.

i will have to save my fishing days for the weekends!!!! I'm hoping to come to the calcutta for the tourney.

In all honesty. i love my job and the career i have chosen is very rewarding. to see a child who has struggled in a certain subject and then oneday he has this look in his eyes that he's finally understanding it, it's priceless.

so this is how i made my 100 post. please lift me in your prayers as i start a new school year and new beginning in my life.

well gals and guys yesterday was the first day of school, it was an awesome day. i didn't know changing classes was so much fun and made the day go by really fast. the students caught on very quickly. i had quite a few boys telling me they went fishing during the summer!!!!!!!!!! I was like right on, what did ya catch.

Congrats on your posts and getting through the first day of class. Make sure and wear your SFC t-shirt when you get it and tell those kids about the site so they can start young with fishing, besides it will be a good diversion from homework that you give them. Good story for your 100th BTW.

thanks everyone for the prayers. its the second week of school and things are going great. i start classes tomorrow night for my master's degree so we will see how stressed i may get. the rest of my life is sort of the pits.


yes, i have a lot of students in my classes who love to fish and the majority of them are girls.

i will be giving my t-shirt to my step father who loved to fish.
