Women have it all figured out!

When a woman gets married, she has a wedding shower and gets showered with gifts from her friends family with the things needed to make a house a home. When she has a baby, another shower. Why can't a guy have a boat shower? I know it sounds a little light in the loferish, but think about it. All your friends throw you a big party and bring gifts including everything you could need for the new rig. You could even get registered at marine electronics stores, tackle stores, and marine supply distibutors. I'm just sayin'

I for one think that is an excellent idea...kinda like a house warming party! - Cuase you know you will spend more time on your boat then in your "real" house........I vote yes to the boat warming party......

However i am glad you have figured out that us womenz have it all figured out........its just one small step for man, one giant step for all female kind!!!!....

Sounds like a great idea. Tell all your friends to each bring a barrel of fuel.

I come from a fishing family, and on Christmas morning it looks like MESCO threw up under our Christmas tree.

100% agreed, boat gifts are definitely the best gifts.

Been there. Had a house warming party. Told the wife there should be something in it for me. So she parked a new riding mower out in front with a donation bucket hanging from it.
