You could have caught the winning fish and not entered that category .

The good thing about kill tournament fishing is that you only have to catch 1 fish durring the whole event. I don't know how many times I have seen a boat catch 1 fish all week only to have it be slob and they took home a fat check.

with those numbers, it makes me feel better. We will see next year and hope for the best. It still was a fun 3 days. Beats working and hearing the kids crying.

I thought this was our year after day 1. But never saw a bill on day two or three. Went back to the same spot all 3 days and saw friends catch blues on day 2 and 3. seems like you just had to wait turn.

We were using all big tackle, looking for that big one, nothing small. Im thinking maybe they were leader shy, but i dont know. I could have been anything.

We saw no whites the first day, but caiught a Blue marlin that died during battle. Day 2 saw nothing, day three went way off and north, saw more tuna than I have seen this year, catch 2 and saw two whites, catch and release 1. Did manage to win the dock Calcutta.
Not bad, not good. But there is always next year.
