Your post is the one that put it over the edge for me. Here you were describing what you lost and were facing in the coming days/weeks and then there was the statement made by someone about bringing them on. How insensative can someone be?

I've been in your situation and I have lost EVERYTHING I owned to a hurricane except my microwave, I know it sucks.

May God be with you, and ALL in harms way, in the weeks to come and stay safe.

i have to believe that anyone who says that has never been through a major hurricane. I say careful what you wish for because you have no idea...!!!!

hey, I remember many (TOO many) years ago growing up in Texas when we saw a hurricane was headed for Mexico across the GOM we would say YeeHaa...Surf's UP!

But I was immature, callous, and stupid...
