    A WINTER STATISTIC

    A WINTER STATISTIC-clip_image001.gif

98% OF AMERICANS SAY 'OH SH*T' BEFORE
GOING IN THE DITCH ON A SLIPPERY ROAD.

THE OTHER 2% ARE FROM North Carolina AND THEY SAY,
'HOLD MY BEER AND WATCH THIS!'

The temps were in the 60's here in Maine for the past two days. Today it's snowing with 4" predicted for this area. Help! Somebody get me the heck out of here. The committee for global warming has my full support.

Damn weathermen. I was hoping they were wrong and it was all just a big mistake. Oh well, only 105 days until spring or mud season if you live in Maine.

The real problem is all of the folks from up north who think they can drive on ice...

What do you mean? All of us guys from up North can drive on ice. Where's the problem? I'll take mud-season over bugs any day Bearhunter. We do have a mean black fly season in Maine, but luckily not here on the coast. We get mosquitoes instead - which sucks (pun intended). Weather update here is:
I'd say we got the full four inched of snow, which seems to be melting fast. About thirty degrees, but plenty of sunshine.

    Just a short footnote:

I put new Cooper STT tires on my truck in October. I was on the road last night during the storm and was very impressed by the traction these tires have on wet snow. These would make great plow tires for anyone in the plow business or otherwise simply looking for a good snow tire.

I PRAY THE DIFFERENCE HERE ON THE DITCH THING........SOME PEOPLE RUN INTO THE DITCHES OF NORTH CAROLINA WHILE TRYING TO SHOOT AT A BUCK THEIR DEER DOGS ARE CHASING....AND NOT ALL OF THEM ARE DRINKING BEER EITHER.....JUST SOME OF THEM.

AND THERE IS NOT ONE SNOW PLOW WITHIN 130 MILES OF MY HOUSE....IF THE WEATHER MAN SAYS THERE IS A CHANCE OF FLURRIES WITHIN 50 MILES THEY CLOSE SCHOOL FOR A WEEK

IF THEY SAY THERE IS A HURRICAINE BREWING IN AFRICA....BATTERIES SELL OUT AT THE LOCAL WALLY WORLD
