Hello,

I am new to this site and would like to discuss winter fishing in the Galveston area with fellow winter fishing enthusiasts. I fish inshore for trout, redfish, and flounder. I have a 19' center console (Blue Wave) that carries me from place to place where I wade, drift, and occasionally drop the anchor to fish a tight spot that does not wade well. I like artificial lure fishing, mostly hard plastics, (mirror lures, swimming images, top dogs and the like, or a Corky or a small 1/16 oz. jig with a scented tout aboard will do for me sometimes when fishing cold deeper waters. Anyway, if you fish similarly, and would like to share information on a timely basis, I would be glad to hear from you.
