Sal, there are a few threads on here about it, 1 in Mix it up, 1 in Whaoonbox section. You will need a permit as well as a wide load sign, no towing at night, holidays, 12 hours before and after holidays or on Sundays.

There is more but I need another cup of coffee first...

Don't forget class A endorsement because I am sure you will towing over 10,000lbs.

    Sal,
Here is a link for the permit:

And you'll definitely need a Class A license. Go to the DMV and ask for the booklet to study. You have to take a 50 question test and score at least an 80% then take a driving test with a trailer that is rated for 10,000+ lbs. The test is super easy---I took it last week. Haven't taken the driving part yet but will be doing it very soon.

Also, don't forget to increase the weight on your weighted tags to cover your truck PLUS your boat (loaded), and trailer.

If you have any questions on anything feel free to give me a call---910-279-2912.

SWEET boat too, by the way!

Thanks for all the help guys. I already have a Class A CDL with Haz mat endorsement. So I am able to drive anything that can go down the road. But I will have to definetly pull the permit to be legal. And my dually is registered to 20k LBS

26,001 lbs is a class A for total weight but if you read the regulations if you are towing over 10,000 lbs this requires a Class A endorsement not the CDL part. You can legally drive a truck under 26,000 lbs with a class C endorsement but if your truck weighs 9,000 lbs and you are towing a 11,000lbs boat = 20,000 lbs you have to have a Class A endorsement because you are towing over 10,000 lbs.
