    Not going to bash solo-ism, I'm as guilty as the next guy, but I think it's a younger man's game. I used to go out by myself, anchor the boat, strap on a set of doubles and go diving for a couple hours...amazing how far from the boat you can come up, and then snorkel back. Now I know my strength isn't what it was, and my timing can get off the mark...with the economy the way it is and fuel high, a lot of commercial guys go out alone, without a mate to pay, and don't come back....sorry but true....
