Why I Can't Sleep This Time Of Year

Its not easy being Deep... From now til Luly it will only come in small doses. I get sleepless before going to the Bahamas earlier in the spring. Thats because I'm stressed trying to get everything right and covering all details. This time of year is different....
What is it that keeps those eyes from gluing shut? What can be so earth shaking that my mind wanders to it no matter how hard I try to just think of other things...

Well here is why... No these aren't my pics... They do however represent about 35 years of memories of the cobalt missile...

Right on brother! Man I've been wating this one out since the last sharking trip of last year. Rigs are tied, line is fresh and gaffs are sharp! I just wish I was fishing the same tournies as you guys but this year I'm limited to the OC MD. tournies. I got a vid of a 150#er getting some serious air. If I can figure out how I'll post it up. Gonna be looking for a whiptail as soon as the blow is over. Hey Deep got any tips on the best way to protect a mako magnet? I heard about the bucket and vegetable oil method but I'm not sure I like that idea.

I seldom use em. Not because they don't work but because they are a pain... We put one in a chicken wire basket one trip but the basket srcatched the boat... Another boat we had it in a bigger pvc tube that worked well...
