Why am I being audited?

I filed my 2010 tax return and expected a refund. Instead, I’m being audited!

In response to the question "Number of dependents," I replied:
“12 million illegal immigrants; 3 million crack-heads; 42 million unemployable lazy bastards; the entire cast of the Jerry Springer Show; 2 million people in over 243 prisons; 300,000 leftovers from Katrina; half of Mexico; and 535 more in the U.S. House and Senate.”

Apparently, this wasn't an acceptable answer….

Evidentially they can't handle the truth very well! If you mentioned that you would like to "up" your donation to the Presidential re-election campain, well you may have slid under their radar. Frank

You cannot claim the cast of Jerry Springer I already claimed them as dependants as well as the illegal immagrants. That may have thrown up the red flag
