Why do I keep getting these letters in email from foreign countries, saying I won their lottery?...

Do people REALLY fall for this stuff? IT's insane... like I'm going to give these people my private information.

Does anyone know where I can report these fraudulent e-mails?

I know what you're saying....but you'd be surprised.....the people that show up in the bank that I work.....have various stories about how they thought they'd try depositing the check.....and.....dumb@$$es

for the same reason I get emails from 22 year old females telling me I am the man of their dreams (I,m 62) It,s a money scam.

right now there is not really a way to stop them, but you can report them here - http://www.us-cert.gov/nav/report_phishing.html

At least the become public and hopefully will prevent someone from making a dumb mistake.

You can report all fraudulent emails to me. Just send me a valid credit card number and your social security number and I'll take care of the problem. Oh yeah, and your mother's maiden name.
