    I tried giving some advice recently reagrding kites and was bashed. Oh well. Goes with the territory. I will let Deep dispense the fishing "tips" from now on.

    True: You did give good advice and some people jumped on you. I think it goes with the territory on this board. If there are 2 ways of doing something which both could work there will be words exchanged.

    A buddy of mine was 3 for 4 in dead calm conditions down there on Sunday.....no kite.

    one day out of palm beach area and one day out of miami!!

    Pretty much. I love how drag settings are gospel. You have to pull rubber dredges not strip to catch fish (although i have had more than a couple whites slam the bait behind our strip dredge)

    BFT's have to be fished for WWWWWWB on the troll. Big artificials only for blue marlin. No dropback with J-hooks. And the list goes on....
