John here is a proposition for you, you get a banner on this site from Admin big or small and I will be the first to get a 3 year subscription from said bannerthen I will have something for when I use the head
It is a pain in the a$$ carrying a laptop into the head.
Deal....or No Deal ?
Welcome Mr. Brownlee. I read your article but only after the surprise of finding there is yet another mag published about seemingly the same thing but for lower $ participants!(or maybe smaller boat owners) As with Cowboy my mag subscriptions have expired. I have the fishing catalogs in the office.and seriously John the business reports have spoken of the demise of the news print industry for quite some time. Once again i'm with Cowboy put a banner up here and you got me for 1yr. AND I OWN A CENTER CONSOLE.thanks for stoppin' in, stick around it's agreat site!![]()
OK Guys:
Just sent an e-mail to Capt. John to see if we can make a deal!
I saw John Brownlee now has a video blog with saltwater sportsman.
So what category does he now fall into?
My vote would be Hypocrites; I guess sites like sportfishermen.com have paved the way for the big boys to decide it's time to come into the future.
I will say this, I wish them no success at all online.
Something I love about this site and a lot of little sites is honesty. For once in our fishing lives we are able to get the real scoop on the fishing and boating industry.
Once the big boys move in internet fishing sites will go back under corp. management and be destroyed.
I can only say that I have checked out Bonnier sites only to find them to be a joke compared to this site. Advertisers should not fall for the big name act online and open the wallets up to sites like this in the future.
Capt John Eppe sorry for this post but my buddy saw his blog and I had to laugh as I remember this thread.
You have created one hell of a salt water site Cappy way before any of these knuckle heads started to realize the consumers are online.
Kick ass bro and please don't walk away from us as I heard some rumors that a couple huge media companies are buying away a lot of our happy homes.
Hope all is well with the wife and kids see ya in Cape May
good on ya John for the article. I think you are right on the $$. glad you are here. some good info on here from time to time. hope you can contribute here.
