if thats the case dont you think east coast mate and west coast cpt would make a good team i mean they both work there asses off to catch fish.

Easties in both jobs... Longer runs, smarter fish, rougher water, less friendly passengers...
That being said in generalization, I won't take away though that the long range boys have it tough. And some of the central american boys work their balls off making bait happen before and after long days...

Sorry for being ambiguous.......I would take an East Coast Mate over a West Coaster. You guys use far more techniques/riggings than we do. But, I would,with all due respect to all of the Captains here and all of the ones I know,choose a West Coast Captain for having to work extremely hard to obtain a respectable status.Now, if that's not politically correct enough ........ it really boils down to the individual.

i fell like its nothing to west coast fishing myself how hard is it to pull lures all day. i fell theres nothing els they do over there to really try to catch fish oyea they do live bait to but still and they dont rigg a 100 baits the night befor for a good marlin bite they just hope the they pile on it and stay hooked dont get me wroung i like lurer fishing but i like to know that i got a better chance at them coming back with bait......... i guess thats just cuzz theres so much more fish over there and they dont care
