WELL ....GET WITH IT....THESE BIZNESSES HELP THE ADMIN PAY SOME BILLS ON SFC!! AND IT COSTS A LOT OF MONEY TO AIR THE VIDEO SECTION.....AND FOR GOSH SAKES....SHOULDN'T JOHN MAKE A BUCK OR TWO ON THIS GIG???/ WHY JUST LAST MONTH 20,000 PLUS VIDEOS WERE WATCHED

IF YOU HAVE EVER MADE A DOLLAR FOR YOUR BIZNESS ON SFC...THEN YOU AND I SHOULD AT LEAST SHOW THE ADMIN WE APPRECIATE THIS WONDERFUL SITE! AND EVEN IF YOU ARE A HOME BUILDER...OR PAINTER...OR ARTIST...OR HOLD A JOB THAT YOU COULD POSSIBLY MAKE A BUCK HERE ON SFC.....THEN BUY A YELLOW PAGE AD ! ....

DO YOU SELL LURES HERE?...DO YOU SELL RODS HERE?....DO YOU HAVE A CHARTER BOAT HERE?....EVEN IF YOU ARE IN ANOTHER COUNTRY....WE MEMBERS AS A TEAM....AND AS A COMMON COURTESY.....SHOULD ALL RENT SOME YELLOW PAGE AD SPACE .....

I'm a consumer. I dont' have a business built around fishing, though I wish I did.

Since I have been coming here, I have supported the website and the sponsors the only way that I can- I have chartered Saltshaker 30 in Miami, purchased products from Off the Hook, Melton, All tackle, Thermz, and SFC, and I have also taken a bait rigging class put on by Box. The point is, when you step up to the plate as a sponsor, everyone who recognizes the value of SFC will respond. It is short money for what you stand to gain in business.

Hopefully in a couple years I can ammend this statement and say that I also purchased a Judge or Jersey Cape, but that's a bit far off right now

The advertising value of this site blows away all other media! For fishing and boating business, this site is highly targeted towards interested buyers.
In comparison to magazines, the average member visits the site once a day, the average magazine is lucky to be picked up 3 or 4 times and then tossed.
Best of all, you can interact with your customers, allowing you to tailor your services and improve upon them, through direct communication with the actual users, not marketing groups or demographic studies

ok, i have to say my peace here.

John had a dream, to make the best internet fishing site in the world. He has spent alot of time and MONEY, to accomplish this. And yes, I do truly believe he has accomplished this.

Now why do we run/ have business, whether they be a tackle company, a car dealership, boat dealership, landscape business, etc., to make money right. Isn't john allowed to ? should we just keep getting business from the site without giving back ??? First its cheap and second its a 100 percent write off.

I will continue to do business primarily with people on this site, i have met and spoke to many wonderful people . The Hinch's , Bill Pino, Chuck Richardson, Keith Fraser. Just to name a few. Hell i just got a bait tray made by frankiethefish, chuck and mary refered me there, Bout the nicest tray you ever want to see. Its called networking folks.

When i need my house painted, which the way my kids destroy it will be very soon, Ill call flat, when my heater breaks I call Proheat , if i need to redo my dock ill call Biebs. Because i know what business they are in, Now just imagine if you buy a CHEAP yellowpage ad on sfc, and people can actually search you out to do business. Heck of alot nicer than cold calls .

Advertise , or don't , its ultimately it's your call, but i for one will continue my ad for as long as john puts up with me.
