Who Has What It Takes 2009 / 2010
After an amazing weekend at the New Jersey Motor Speedway I have some massive convincing to do with the wife.
I need to thank Nesba Dot Com for giving Sportfishermen.com the keys to a brand new Yamaha R-6 Street Bike.. Yes that is right your very own Admin hit the track for 3 laps and wow was it cool..
Back in my younger days I was around when Nesba was born.
For those of you that ride and do not know about Nesba you need to check this out.
Something Unique about Nesba is you can take your Road legal bike to a track day and ride the track.
They have rentals of Leathers and the gear you will need.
Just a basic amount of work needs to be done to hit the track.
Also Nesba is Sponsored by Yamaha Demo's so at most of the track days you can show up and ride a demo bike to check out the bike that works best for you..
So after almost 10 years of being away from the arena I think it's time to step back in.
So if any of you want to start having some fun on none fishing days lets see who has what it takes. Are you FAST?
LOL
Oh man the wife is going to love this......
IF YOU BOUGHT A NEW BIKE THIS YEAR FROM YAMAHA GET YOUR FREE Nesba membership here... http://www.nesba.com/NewYamahaCustomer/

You're a little old to be playin with fire ain't ya... Wife and kids kind of need ya don't they? I've gone fast and I still get the tingle now and then... I know the rush. Hell I raced on the wet in Jersey skiff and it wasn't enough. Had to move to an e class 280 hydro... Nah had to go bigger so it grew to a 7 litre. I tasted water at 120 and trust me, that left a memory or two. I slowed it down and ran offshor in c class... All good til a buddy got killed "going slow"...
Had a chance to run one of the old Wood Brothers Purolator Mercury's. That was a thrill... Bike though? too much to go wrong and that gravel rash you got on the ATV pales in comparison to the sandin you can get sliding down a couple hundred yards of pavement before a hay bale enema...
Not gonna tell you not to. I ain't your momma but we're a family out here and love ya. Don't want anything bad to happen, we need you. Br careful bro...

"Life is what you make it!"
Thats one heck of a yard sale right there! Did the bike come with full body armor???
Be fast and be safe!

If Ignorance is bliss, Why aren't more people happy?
One of those bikes would look great with a Mark Ray wrap.
I'll stick to 4 wheels or 2 props...

Yes Mary It was one hell of a yard Sale and its amazing these guys get right back up and try to ride.
But I will say the one thing about Nesba is Its not about Speed, its about a safe riding environment.
I personally love riding but stopped back in 1999 when I realized the roads around me just were not made for enjoying a bike.
Nice part about nesba is you can sharpen your game and learn on a closed track.
I road 3 laps around the track and its one heck of a work out and we went slow.
