I was in Cape May this weekend after reading about the outrage Whitey experienced at the MA500. Imagine it, some guy put bananas on his boat.Well, excuse me. Not really his boat but his property. According to the Cape May Police dept, the boat was out fishing......the real sleuth was at the dock.
Now I have friends down there and went right to the source who for his own protection wants to remain anonymous. He did however supply me with the pictures they took including a "get away" path they think the banana bandit took.
My first stop was the local dairy queen, they didnt have a clue as to what I was talking about. But that was my first clue. They didnt "split" the bananas. This was a one man show. He wasnt about to split any profit with anyone. Perhaps, he was split up with his wife? That could drive a guy to do this sort of thing, couldnt it? He was leaving whole bananas at the scene. This guy was good. And it seems had enough money to go all the way with this scheme! Hence, FULL bananas.
Off to the police station I went. I felt I was actually following this guy around town when he commited this horrendous act. I could actually be in his footprint! WOW!
I got to the station and ID was requested. I told them, Im hubris......I need to see the pictures you got. They led me into a room where every DA and local Prosecutor were just looking them over looking for clues. They didnt want this to escalate any further either whitey. This seemed like the biggest crime in Cape May this summer. One cop had his gun out!
Any way, I got the pictures they had only because Im connected in Cape May.
Now should I ever come up to Margate, what would I bring with me to get the truth out of the local dirtbags? Never mind, Lets stick to the story here.
The pictures I got include all the damage he did, and the get away location he and his lady friend use on weekends. I tell ya, Its like Bonnie and Clyde all over again.![]()
